Get to know the people that make up our team. Here at Mohawk Community Church we are family centered. We work hard to make sure Mohawk Community feels like a family for anyone that finds themselves here. Part of feeling like family is making sure you know us as staff members, and our families as well. Meet some of the leaders and their families that are leading our community. 

Pastor Sam Whittaker and his wife Rachel

Sam has been the Pastor of Mohawk Community Church since fall of 2017. Sam is originally from Michigan where he studied Theology and Pastoral Studies at Grace Christian University. He is married to Rachel Whittaker, and together they have four amazing children (from oldest to youngest) Abigail, Gabriel, Miriam, and Gideon. He's a big fan of Star Wars. Like, seriously. His other interests are in writing, reading, film, theater, and music.
